* 오드리 햅번이 나오는 영화 <My Fair Lady>(1964) OST 중 <The Rain in Spain> 이란 노래에서 따온 말장난. "The rain in spain stays mainly in the plain" 로 운율을 맞춘 가사가 있다. 무슨 말인지 잘 모르겠으면 발음을 읽어보기.

정말 시적인 가사라 번역도 그냥 마음대로 했다.. We've demand to supply를 공급할 수요가 있다...고 하기엔 갑자기 딱딱해지는 느낌이라 살짝 의역으로 바꿈. 영어 시는 단어에 힘을 싣지만 한국어는 문장 흐름에서 분위기가 형성되는 차이를 느낀다.
언뜻 컨트리나 민요처럼도 들리는 노래. 난 영국인도 아닌데 토속적인 느낌 느끼게 해줌.

중간에 바람이라는 피트의 친구는 당연하게도 칼을 의미한다.(He is twinned) 다음에 올릴 칼 솔로곡에 이 가사의 답신이 있음.
